This is my brother Travis (yip, the dude with the long blonde hair). This Saturday he graduated with his Bachelors Degree in Music. Tony, I and the boys wish we could have been there to celebrate his achievement, but as he lives in Invercargill, the bottom of the South Island, we couldn't afford to go. (It costs $500 to fly to Invercargill or it is a 4-5 day drive in the car). My mum flew down and had a really wonderful time celebrating with Travis and his friends. We are all so PROUD of his accomplishment. Travis has a real passion in life for playing the guitar and over the past few years he has been a part-time guitar teacher to children and adults. He has just been offered a full time job teaching music and guitar next year at a High School in Invercargill- way to go bro! We are really happy for him that he has been given this great opportunity (although a little sad that he won't be moving back to Auckland this year).Sunday, December 14, 2008
