De-lish-i-mo!

Any success in the Nizetich kitchen is worthy of a post, because anyone who knows me well, knows I've had my fair share of cooking/baking disasters. Our neighbour came over during the week to repair our roof and before he begun work he jokingly said, "Not too much jam on the scones." Fresh cream and jam scones sounded really good, and of course it's always good to score brownie points with your neighbour, especially when he's a tradesman, so I made some scones (American term is biscuit) from scratch. I felt such a pro kneading the dough! That really was the funnest part, but the next day I read in a different recipie not to knead the dough! Anyway, my scones turned out delicious and were very tasty with my homemade strawberry jam and fresh vanilla cream.

Hayden learns the planets at Preschool: Mercury, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Penus!

Hayden (shopping with me and whining): "My brain hurts forever because you haven't buyed me anything."
