But it sure is nice when those moments are balanced out with a fun moment that has the whole family rolling over laughing.
Sunday afternoon Hayden asked Tony what was in the cupboard behind the bedside table in our wardrobe (unbeknown to Hayden the cupboard/door leads to our attic above the garage).

Tony very seriously told Hayden that it was the land of Narnia and that if he ever opened the cupboard he would get sucked in and we would never see him again. Hayden wasn't falling for it, but the more Tony kept insisting he was telling the truth the more Hayden started to get concerned. Eventually, nearly 15 minutes later of "Come on Dad, PLEASSSEEE tell me the truth" and Tony continuouly saying "It's true, it's really true", Tony asked Hayden if he would like to see for himself. Funny enough Hayden was too afraid, but Ashton was really curious.
Tony told Ashton he'd better wear a belt for protection so he could hold onto him if he started to get sucked in.
I guess you had to be there, but it was just sooo funny to see the boys taking it so seriously. Even little Juliet was smiling (she was probably wondering why she had such a silly family that was acting so goofy!)
Ashton venturing into the pitch black cupboard with caution;

Ashton saying, "Don't let go of me Dad."

"Hey Dad, I'm back, there's just a bunch of boxes in there."

Some photo's taken over the last 2 weeks;
Juliet is now 3 months old.
Here she is asleep in her bouncer after a shower. She was so tired that I didn't have time to get her dressed;

A close-up of her pretty lips;

Juliet 'cooing' in her bouncer. A couple of weeks ago she started saying 'ah-ga' but now she makes lots of sounds and is really responsive. It is so fun to talk to her and the sounds she makes are so sweet and beautiful;

Noah and Ashton pretending to be secret agents. They wore their ties all morning as they snuck around the house pretending to hide and spy;

Juliet asleep in her swing;

Juliet in her 'rose dress' that Nana bought her. It's the first time she's worn a dress. When I put it on and realized it fit I went downstairs and told the boys to close their eyes because Juliet had a surprise for them. When they opened their eyes and saw her in the dress they were smiling, giggling, laughing, touching her dress and tights and begging to hold her!

Ashton holding Juliet. Ashton is still afraid to pick her up on his own, but he enjoys holding her with me close by;

Juliet enjoying some floor time and the freedom of no clothes;

Juliet in her matching knitted hat and cardy;

Here she is enjoying listening to her musical mobile;

The boys have been trying to get Juliet to hold things. They all think it's so funny to put a spoon or toothbrush in her hand. They laugh when she uncontrollably waves the object around and then doesn't let it go;

Success!

I love, love, love Juliet's crib! All the beautiful pastels... And I hereby vow to put cute stuffed animals in our next baby's crib (in the US everyone is mortally afraid of sids so nobody has anything in the crib). Silly, huh?
