Factathon

Hayden’s school came up with a great idea for a fundraiser. The kids are having a ‘Factathon’. Between now and September 11th the children have a chance to learn 25facts. All the children are given the same facts for each year/grade they are in. Children/parents are not expected to door knock (thank goodness!) but they are expected to get family and friends to sponsor them for each question they get right on the day of the test. We are sponsoring Hayden $1 for each question he gets right.

Here is a list of the facts for the children who are in Year 1 & 2 (ages 5 & 6)
A lot of the kids in Year 2 have already had their 7th birthday (like Hayden) so some of the questions are very easy for them, but some of them are not so easy! This has been a great way to increase the childrens general knowledge.
