Last Saturday we caught the bus into the city and took the boys on a ferry ride.
The boys were excited to be on the bus instead of in the car. They were so excited to be on the bus that they made as much noise as a bus load of people, even though we were the only ones on it. Hayden and Ashton were busy looking out the windows at the cars and every few seconds they would shout, “I see a Hot Wheel", "I see another one", "There’s one", "Oh, look at that one!”
The ferry ride was about an hour around the Auckland Harbour. The highlight for the kids was going under the Auckland Harbour Bridge. As we were coming back under it we saw a group of people on top of the bridge preparing to 'Bunjy Jump', but unfortunately the ferry didn't go slow enough for us to watch.
Auckland city is known as the ‘City of Sails' so our ferry ride took us past all the sail boats and we had fun picking out the ones that were the most impressive.
Unfortunately, it was a cold and cloudy day, but we all enjoyed it anyway.
Tony and the boys on the ferry enjoy looking at the boats on the harbour.
Auckland Harbour Bridge.

Auckland Sky Tower. If I had got a closer shot there was probably someone bunjy jumping from there too (we've watched people before). Those crazy kiwi's!
