Mothers Day

I know Mothers Day has already past in the States, but in NZ it is this coming Sunday.

There is a family at church who are very musically talented so they have turned themselves into a group called the 'Polkadots'. They (2 of the sisters, a brother, a sister-in-law and a best friend) dance and sing together for little children. They have become NZ's version of the Wiggles. They write all their own songs and music, and do their own choreography. They are becoming very popular and well-known in NZ and are even receiving recording contracts here and in the States. They put together this Mother's Day video below with their 'Thank you' song. The children in it are a little hard to understand and you will definitely notice the 'kiwi' accent, but it's very cute. My friend Geri is in it with her adopted daughter Maiah (the photo taken on the beach) and there is also a photo of Caleb and his mum (mentioned in my posts below). The rest of the photo's are of families in our past ward - when we first moved to NZ and were living in an apartment. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to get the video to fit on my blog page fully so if anyone knows how to do that then please let me know.
