Ashton's Imagination At Work

Last week when Ashton was at kindy, one of the teachers put out some clay for the children to play with. Ashton and a couple of his "mates" sat down to start making something out of it, but after awhile Ashton's friends lost interest, so Ashton continued to play with the clay on his own.
Ashton spent all morning at the clay table letting his imagination flow and creating something that turned out to be quite amazing.
He created a construction of tunnels and carefully rolled out little worms that he placed on top. At the base of the construction were little slaters (rollie pollies) crawling into the tunnels.
The teacher said that Ashton was so serious and so dedicated to what he was creating that it was amazing to see his mind at work (hence all the photos).
His clay construction is on display at the centre for all the parents to see.
His imagination and perfectionist personality really came out in this activity.
Way to go Ashton!
