ZOO FUN

Last week was school holidays so we spent another day at the zoo. Uncle Travis came with us and practiced his photography.

Every time we go to the zoo Ashton loves to have a look in the zoo shop before we leave. He really loves the little miniature animals and insects. This time he chose to buy a weta (an insect only found in NZ). Does it look real on his shirt? He leaves it on his bedroom window sill and from a distance it really does!

Every time we go into the zoo shop Juliet goes straight for the umbrella's. She loves them! We will definitely have to get her one for next winter:

Below - Juliet eating some lunch and going for a walk with Hayden. Notice Hayden's tight grip on her wrist. While we were eating lunch she kept doing a runner on us and heading for the playground. Hayden would keep going to get her and she was very unimpressed.

Hayden: "I don't want to finish my pizza, it's got blood all over it."

Hayden: "Ashton hit me in the heart."

Hayden learns the planets at Preschool: Mercury, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Penus!

Hayden (shopping with me and whining): "My brain hurts forever because you haven't buyed me anything."
